At least one member of staff has completed the Health Education England free Children's Oral Health E-learning:

  • Allow staff member to pass on information to other members of staff after training.
  • Run an in house session on dental health where the staff member can present what they learnt

  • Smarter Smiles have created free resources to help schools with oral health  promotions and activities. Smarter Smiles dental care professionals provide an accreditation programme and training for staff to encourage and raise awareness of better oral health for children and their families.

Take part in dental health activities and campaigns

  • Explore free downloadable resources to use in the classroom during National Smile Month which highlight key dental health messages including the importance of brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, the role sugar plays in diet and why everybody should visit the dentist. Each pack comes with a lesson plan, worksheet and interactive presentation.
