Support the uptake and delivery of vaccinations:

Support the routine immunisation programme through sharing of information with parents and caregivers at key points and support with consent forms where appropriate.

Support families to ensure children are protected during hot and in cold weather where action is required:

Explore free resources to assist in your duty of care to safeguard children against UV and prevent skin cancer through education.

Support school health screening ensuring parents are well informed:

To include auditory, vision, height and weight measurements (NCMP).

Promote and signpost to the School Nursing Service for support:

The School Nursing service offers all parents and carers in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, the opportunity for their child to have a health assessment and reviews during their children’s school years from reception through to leaving secondary education and transition into adulthood.
